MY MESSAGE TO CONSERVATIVES
Justified Force? Really?
Everyone who is paying attention has already said it.
Everyone with eyes in their head has seen the videos.
Everyone with half a brain knows we are being gaslit.
And everyone should know by now that the Trump administration is a snake pit of liars, grifters, and soulless assholes.
So I won’t bother to reiterate, what is being said all over the media, by those more eloquent than me. But what I will do is send a message directly to Conservatives who seem to have forgotten how to think for themselves, and instead, have fallen headlong into said ‘pit’, while they echo the same hissing sounds that slither out of the White House. And in doing so, they are decimating decency, crushing compassion, and trading their humanity for cruelty.
The Conservative party is no longer the party your grandparents voted for. Hell, it’s not the party I once voted for! It is something else entirely. But to understand why, we must pay attention and trust what our gut is trying to tell us. (But I digress and will write about that soon.)
Here is my message…
Feel free to save and share this poster on social media. As we are being gaslit and lied to, it is more important that ever to spread truth, compassion, and human decency however and wherever we can. Truth Matters. Renee Nicole Good mattered.
On a more positive note, I am encouraged by the tens of thousands who marched in Minneapolis in sub‑freezing temperatures this weekend, to protest what happened to Renee. And the more than 1,000 rallies that took place in her honour nationwide. This is a powerful reminder that there are still good and decent people in the world who are willing to stand up for others, who still have compassion, who still care.
But for the rest of you, I want you to say her name… RENEE NICOLE GOOD.
And please, for the love of God, stop being an asshole!
